Who we serve
White Glove Social Work handles licensing for social workers at every level (LBSW, LMSW, LCSW and every state's variant), from a first license to clinical upgrades and licenses in additional states. The Social Work Compact has not opened yet, so every state is a state license for now. Professional counselors are served by our sister team at whiteglovecounseling.com, and marriage and family therapists at whiteglovemft.com.
State Licenses
License by Endorsement
$499 per state
For states with an endorsement route for social workers licensed elsewhere. The board checks your license, ASWB score and record instead of re-evaluating your degree and hours from scratch. We confirm the route fits your file before you pay the board, then file it end to end.
Full State License Application
$749 per state
For states that evaluate the file from scratch, including California, New York and Texas, and for first licenses. We screen your CSWE-accredited degree, ASWB exam history and supervised-hours documentation before you pay a non-refundable fee, then file and carry the board correspondence.
Jurisprudence & State Law Exam Support
$249 per state
Several states require an exam or course on their own social work laws and rules before they issue, California's Law and Ethics exam and Texas's jurisprudence exam among them. We book it, prepare you on that state's rules and file the result.
Clinical Licenses and Exams
LMSW-to-LCSW Clinical License Upgrade
$299 one-time
Finishing your supervised clinical hours is when the paperwork piles up: hour logs, supervisor attestations, the ASWB Clinical exam approval and the upgrade application itself. We assemble and file it so your clinical license issues without a gap.
ASWB Exam Approval & Registration
$149 per exam
Most boards must approve you before ASWB will let you register, and the order varies by state. We file the board's exam application, get the approval through, and register you for the right exam level.
Social Work Compact Readiness Review
$149 one-time
The Social Work Compact has not issued a multistate license yet. This review checks your home state, license level and record against the Compact's model, tells you which states need a license now, and gets your file ready for the day it opens. Credited if you go ahead.
Renewals
Annual Renewal & CE Compliance
$199 per year
Every social work license renews on its own date with its own continuing-education rules, including ethics and state-specific topics. We keep one calendar across all your licenses, log CE against each state's rules and file ahead of every deadline.
Document & Logistics Support
Fingerprint Coordination
$75–$150 per state
Scheduling and routing of fingerprint-based background checks, including out-of-state hard-card processing where a board will not accept a Live Scan from elsewhere.
Notarization & Identity Verification
$75 flat
Coordination of notarized attestations and identity verification where a board requires them in wet-ink or remote-online form.
Courier & Rush Document Handling
$50–$150
Tracked courier handling for sealed transcripts, wet-ink attestations, and anything a board insists on receiving on paper before a meeting cutoff.
Important Fee Notice
(Prices above do not include the following)
The prices listed above reflect our service fees only. Additional costs paid directly to third parties — these are set by the state boards and ASWB, and they change from time to time, so we confirm the current schedule at intake:
- State license fees — vary widely by board, are non-refundable, and are charged again at each renewal. Confirm the current schedule before you file.
- ASWB exam fees — paid to ASWB when you register, and charged again for a retake.
- Board application fee — paid to the destination board, and not refundable if the application fails.
- Jurisprudence exam fee — where the state requires an exam on its own statutes, charged separately and on its own schedule.
- ASWB score transfers — ASWB charges to send your exam score to a new board.
- Official transcripts — charged by your program, and most boards require them sent directly by the institution rather than forwarded by you.
- Fingerprinting — $30–$70 in state vendor fees; more for out-of-state hard-card processing.
- Notary, courier, and state renewal fees — where a third party is involved.
One thing worth being explicit about: a license is not payer enrollment. Getting paid in a new state is a separate exercise, per-payer, and it frequently takes longer than the license did. It is handled by our sister team at whiteglovecredentialing.com. See where the Social Work Compact stands for the full picture.
